Had a wonderful stay at Row Farm. Secluded location with facilities close by. Recieved a warm welcome from the family who own the farm and Steven was very helpful with local information and any requests. The cottage is cosy, clean and very comfy bed. Our labrador had a fantastic time also. Enjoying the walks and meeting the family dogs who were all friendly. The local village pub is only 15 mins walk away and does the most amazing homemade food including a hearty Sunday roast. Local village shop with all the supplies you need if you don't want to drive and the best butchers who are famous locally for their produce including a royal warrant. Best bangers I've ever tasted! Just wish we could have had a longer stay and hopefully we will return in the future to visit. Big thank you to Steven and his lovely family for their hospitality.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, providing all the amenities I needed. The surrounding countryside was peaceful and serene, offering stunning views. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even going above and beyond by assisting with our luggage. We also had a delightful family barbecue during our stay, and the owners didn't mind the extra guests. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation.

The secluded rural location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The surrounding views of the countryside were breathtaking, and we enjoyed the tranquility and the opportunity to recharge our batteries. the owner was very friendly and helpful, providing us with local information and accommodating any requests we had.
The driveway leading to the cottage, which was a gravel track and could be challenging to navigate, especially for automatic cars. Wi-Fi was also spotty throughout the property, and there was no phone reception with certain providers.

Great location in the middle of nowhere with stunning views. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful and offered useful tips and advice on places to visit. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the reliable WiFi connection.
The shower had low water flow and the beds were quite uncomfortable. The oven also needs replacing as the paint was coming off.

We spent our Christmas holidays in a cottage in the Lake District National Park and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. It was a great getaway from the city hustle and bustle. The cottage itself was cozy and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our Christmas dinner without any issues. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and the warm shower after long walks in the countryside. the cottage provided a great home base for exploring the area.
There were a few aspects of our stay that could have been better. the double bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped.

Located in a charming rural setting, Row Farm Cottage offers the perfect balance between a tranquil getaway and the convenience of nearby Lake District attractions. the sight of adorable baby lambs in the fields just outside the cottage adds a delightful touch to the experience. the cottage itself is well-equipped and the owner's helpful tips on local sights are a plus.
The lack of soundproofing between rooms and neighboring areas can be an issue for light sleepers.

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere with the sounds of lambing season. - Friendly and helpful owner, providing tips and advice on places to go. - Perfectly situated for trips to Wast Water and surrounding areas. - Fully equipped kitchen and clean, comfy beds. - Secluded location with facilities close by.
A lot of driving required to reach desired destinations. Price of £100 per night seemed a bit steep but understandable for a cottage experience.
